1960 Chevrolet El Camino Very Rare

$29900.00

Very rare 1960 Chevrolet El Camino. We all know the trucks are hot today and with the prices this rare El Camino is a great buy for anyone NOT wanting to spend $40 or $50 grand to get a cool old El Camino to have some fun with and not have to spend any money once they get the car on fixing things or on a total restoration.

The car has all the looks and the sound. The El Camino was introduced for the 1959 model year two years after the Ford Ranchero. According to Chevrolet stylist Chuck Jordan, GM Harley Earl had suggested a coupé pickup in 1952, it was based on an existing and modified platform, the new-for-1959 Brookwood two-door station wagon, itself based on the completely redesigned, longer, lower and wider full-sized Chevrolet only producing 14,163 with very few left today as most were used as a truck and abused.

The 59-60 El Camino ’s are hard to find and are said to be the best years of all the years produced. This car/truck has a great look. The truck is a rust free southern car that is in need of nothing to have some fun with. The car is from the south and has all its original sheet metal and is very nice. The truck is very solid underside the bed has been lined. The Black paint is newer and looks very nice with few flaws, the interior is Saddle Tan and is also in new condition and looks great. The car has a 350ci with a 4 barrel carb with aluminum intake set up that runs very nice with a 2-speed automatic trans. It also has a aluminum radiator to keep it cool and disc brakes on the front to help stop it. The dual exhaust sounds great and exits in front the rear wheels and looks nice. The car has a very nice stance with the wheel and tire combo, a very menacing look. Overall condition is very nice and will make someone a great truck. The bumpers are showing a little age but are still very presentable.  Please let the entire pictures load I have included several and the car does look as good in person as it does here.

As you can see the truck is stunning with the great color combo of Black with Tan interior with the 18” and 20” Riddler wheels and new tires, the car says, “I have arrived” at any local car show or any event. With all the mainstream cars like Camaro’s, Chevelle’s GTO’s and etc. this car will stand out. Everybody has the typical, black, blue, white muscle cars how many ‘60 El Camino’s have you seen?
