1966 Plymouth Satellite HEMI 426ci 4 Speed

Price $74900.00

This real deal factory built 1966 Plymouth Satellite 2 Door Hardtop 426ci Hemi with Dual Quads and a 4-speed. Need I say more? WOW. Chrysler offered its 426 Hemi engine briefly and in very limited numbers in some '65 Mopar intermediates, but with 12.5:1 compression and competition-grade tuning, it was too high-strung for the street. That changed in '66, when the 426-cid Hemi V-8 was added to the regular production options list. And one of the muscle cars that benefited from this change was the 1966 Plymouth Satellite 426 Hemi. Car and Driver called the 1966 Hemi Satellite "the best combination of brute performance and tractable street manners we've ever driven...."

We all know the Mopars are the hottest muscle car craze out there today and with the prices this car is a great buy for anyone NOT wanting to spend $100 grand plus to get a cool old school REAL Hemi Mopar to have some fun with and not have to spend any money once they get the car on fixing things or on a total restoration. The production numbers are very low for this car and there were only 817 total produced and only 503 4-speeds and this car is 1 of them.

The car has all the looks and the sound. The car is a St. Louis built rust free car with all original sheet metal that has lived its whole life in North Carolina where it was sold new. This car came from a private collection of many years. It is believed to have actual miles of only 63,675 but we have no way of verifying but it looks the part. It was an original Silver metallic code AA1 with Black interior car from the factory and still retains the great color combination today. The underside is also painted black. I have the Chrysler production record letter and a copy of the build card paperwork on the car and the fender tag is still on the car. The 1 repaint looks very, very nice with very few flaws, the mostly original interior is Black with buckets and looks in “as new” condition. The car has a 1966 426ci/425hp Hemi Mopar With a heavy duty 4-speed trans, the rear end is a Dana 60 with Sure Grip differential, the car drives tight and very nice.

Overall condition is very nice and will make someone a great car. Please let the entire pictures load I have included several and the car does look as good or better in person as it does here.

As you can see the car is stunning with the great color combo of Silver with Black interior with the old school American Racing wheels on the black wall tires, says “I have arrived” at any local car show or any national event. With all the mainstream cars like Camaro’s, Chevelle’s GTO’s, Nova’s, Roadrunners and etc. this rare car does stand out. Everybody has the typical red, blue, white muscle cars how many old school nostalgia 66 Plymouth Satellite HEMI 2 door hardtops in this condition have you seen at your local car show lately? Now find one in this color combo. It’s easy to be part of the masses. Some people prefer to roll to the beat of a different drummer.

This is a rare opportunity to get great deal on a great car. Please feel free to call me at 517-990-2646 for serious questions or concerns.
