1972 was a great year for styling in GM's intermediate line, and the Chevelle SS Convertible was at the top of that platform. The SS was a relatively inexpensive entry into the end of the muscle car market. 1972 is the last year popular for Chevelle car collectors. This Cream Yellow SS with Black interior looks just fabulous. This car has a very nice running numbers matching 396/402 Big Block is fitted with an automatic 3-speed transmission as well as power steering and power disc brakes along with factory air conditioning.

Up for sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible, nicely optioned with numbers matching motor, automatic 3-speed. I purchased this car about 10 years ago from Murray Auto Parts, it was used as a show car for there new store openings and local car shows they sponsored, painted a while back and still looks great just a few chips and light scratches nothing that take away from the great looks. This SS was a factory Cream Yellow and Black interior and looks great with the Black SS stripes.

Mechanical: Number matching 402ci code "CTB", the Automatic 3-speed trans shifts nice, power steering and power disc brakes, power top, tilt steering wheel, 12 bolt posi 3:31 rear end with front and rear sway bars, factory exhaust manifolds with dual exhaust sounds great with factory style tips out the back.

Interior: Correct code “704” Black bench seat interior, factory air conditioning, factory SS steering wheel, the radio is a factory AM/ 8 track radio, the factory air cond is all there and I’m sure it will need a charge, everything including factory tinted glass, convertible top and parade boot, carpet, door panels seat covers, headliner, interior everything looks very nice.
