Price $37900.00

1957 Chevrolet Belair 2-door sedan, 2 owners since new I purchased the car form the 2nd owner who purchased it from his friend that bought in brand new in 1957. I apologize in advance for the long winded story but this car deserves it. 1957 is said by some to be the best year, for the second time in as many years, Chevrolet again came up with a totally new car. From the front or rear the 1957 Chevrolets resembled nothing else on the road, the 1957 Chevrolet was a brand new car. The '57 Chevy was a car that Harley Earl designed for GM before retiring a few years later, and his flamboyant style was very evident.  It’s in great condition throughout!  All the mechanics work properly, looks great and is fun to drive! This car has to be one the nicest 57 Belair's in the country for the money!

This very rare 57 Belair is in nice original condition everywhere you look with the original color Black with black and silver interior this car is stunning. This car is a rare find. The miles on the odometer show 61,136 and are original to the car. The 283ci engine is original, as is all the other drive line items, the car was completely restored and is 100% stock with all original sheet metal and most all other components also, the paint still looks very nice and laser straight and near perfect with very few flaws, every piece of chrome and stainless is very nice, Turn over the 283 V-8 engine and quite rumble from the exhausts hits a sweet tune. Driving it, you will appreciate the ride and handling characteristics. The optional 2-speed auto transmission shifts smoothly, the power brakes stop the car quickly and securely. It’s is a blast to drive!

The body is in very nice condition. The metal is clean and straight with no signs of rust or damage. I have over 90 pictures of the car. All the glass is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The 5 original style wide white bias-ply tires are like new and all the jack assembly is all there, jack instructions there with the original trunk mat. The car comes with a correct car cover. The underside is very solid, no signs of any rust ever and looks very, very nice.

Overall this is a rare opportunity to own a true piece of American history of the automobile industry, a real icon, how many 57 Belair’s do you see at your local or national events across the country? This car has been in several local shows and wins every time it has never been judged in a national event and should do very well.
